He is the right man for the job. So what he wasn't innocent in his younger years, but who was? Everybody got dirt under there rug n no one knows it until it is shaken,! Look at all the corruption goin on within r United States, these people has had there rug shaken n pulled rght out under there feet, the sexual offenders, woops they had there hands slapped by a ruler, n the ruler is under investigation his self. But Mike had made a mistake, he paid his price for his mistake, so many of Years ago, n now he's also makin up for his mistake, standn in front all of us, being the mayor of r town., n telln us his own truth, that alone takes big balls. So r town will survive with Mike runnin it, n hopefully nomore bullshit, n he will make new GOOD things happen that will b good for all, the old the young, the innocent. Im counting on Mike to make those changes needed for all of York county, for all of r good. Thanx Mike

There is SO much worse corruption in politics. He is human, made a mistake? We all have, you learn, take the punishment and better yourself from it.
A lot of people in Washington and everywhere need to learn this concept.
Each one OF US WILL BE JUDGED SOMEDAY IN FRONT OF THE LORD...STILL TIME TO CHANGE!

We don't need court time being taken up by unnecessary litigation. The mayor elect should have all his attention focused on the job at hand.

This man deserves to put his past...in the PAST! He is out there on the streets! Going to the vigils of those killed, donating money to families of murder victims! He CARES!!!! York NEEDS a strong leader to address the crime....someone who SEES the streets and is willing to let the thugs know that they are not welcomed anymore! He is York's salvation!

I am signing because I grew up near York and It can use a good leader like Helfrich. I also think possession and use of marijuana is not a crime; in fact if the were a tax on it like on alcohol and cigarettes I am sure the government would be only too glad for people to be buying it.

I believe Mike is a great example of how the system is supposed to work. He made a mistake, paid the price, and then worked hard to make a difference and to positively impact the world around him. Clearly, the people of York chose him to be their Mayor not despite who he was but rather for who he has chosen to become. The voters believe in him and his ability to work for the city of York so I'm signing and asking that all petty disputes fueled by questionable motives be put to rest.

He should be pardoned for minor offenses from his younger days.
