Stop CPS from legally kidnapping Children started this petition to Governor of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz

Child protection currently is not operating under due process of law on cases that were created due to allegations, no proof of neglect or abuse. We are talking about a system using taxpayers dollars and federal funding on the removal of children from homes that have no proof of neglect or abuse. These agencies are then requesting more funding, because the funding that has been used wasn't on the appropriate cases that do in fact have neglect and abuse taking place. There are hundreds of Minnesota children currently affected by this.

There is perjury going on by these case workers and also county attorney's on a daily basis when the cases (no proof of neglect or abuse cases) are brought before a judge, so children can be removed from loving homes. These removals are creating trauma to the children and families involved and additional expenses to the taxpayers and creating a caseload that could be used for a child that is truly being abused and neglected and needing this system.

We, the people of Minnesota, request you Governor Walz, that you take immediate action to audit this system. That this audit is conducted by a non bias company that is given access to these records in a private manner. That this audit includes social worker profiles.

This audit is to produce facts of what currently went wrong with child protection. This audit will create a picture of how the Legislative Child Task Force of MN can learn from this audit and make necessary changes. We cannot stress the importance of this audit taking place. This audit should include all counties within the state of Minnesota, which include cases that have been dismissed within the past 6 years.

We appreciate a prompt response to this and look forward to you taking the necessary action.
