Montana Gov Bullock: Please Support SB97 & Preserve Our Montana Courts From Foreign Law

Dear Governor Bullock:
SB 97 does not attack a particular religion, but rather protects all citizens, including Muslims, from the application of foreign laws in court cases that could potentially deprive them of their constitutionally protected rights. The bill does not prohibit anyone from practicing their religion in a manner consistent with the US Constitution. This should not even be an issue since article 6 of the US Constitution states that it is the supreme law of the land. However in the past decade, judges have abused their judicial discretion in deciding cases that have resulted in litigants losing their basic civil rights of equal protection under the law.
These cases went to the appellate where they were struck down. These cases are a waste of the courts' time and money and of tax-payers' money.
Signing SB 97 into law sends a clear message that if a case is brought before Montana Courts, all parties will be treated equally and fairly, regardless of their religion, and that the courts will continue to protect the constitutional rights of all who present themselves to the Montana Courts, regardless of their native culture, religion, or country.
For the people of Montana, please Governor Bullock, sign SB 97 into law.
