Ban Wisconsin Petlands and Furry Babies from selling puppies!

The featured picture is Alfie, a 10 week old pug puppy from the Petland in Janesville, WI. Two days after coming home he developed an upper respiratory infection which turned into Pneumonia. He was hospitalized overnight at the emergency vet clinic and placed in an incubator, hooked up to IVs. He had a bad fever and was shaking. Currently, pet stores such as Petland and Furry Babies are selling puppies provided by puppy mills. These puppies are too young to be exposed to so many other animals. They live their lives in glass display cases while in the pet store. They are forced to go to the bathroom in their cases and are housed with other puppies in the same display case. They are surrounded by their waste. They do not have room to run or play. All breeds are in the same small glass cases- from Yorkies to Great Danes. They sleep on metal grates and have a horrible quality of life. Due to these living conditions they often end up very sick, and some even die. Sign this petition to stop Petland Janesville, Petland Racine, and Furry Babies Janesville from selling puppies. By stopping the pet stores from selling puppies, we will no longer be supporting the puppy mills supplying them. Here is the link to Alfie's Facebook group, Alfie's Wish.
