I’m signing because families should not have to rush their lives and/or health over exams that can wait or given in person. In the midst of a global pandemic, it is dangerous and ill-advised. These are not normal times, therefore, we should not expect normal activities during this time.

I signed because I am uneasy about prioritizing in person administration of exams in January given the current rates of infection. This feels out of order given that while teachers are eligible for the vaccines, vaccinations are far from handled, plus high school students can pass the infection at the same rates as adults. Thank you for making these alternate suggestions.

We put our daughter in the Virtual Academy for serious safety reasons. And ALL families were promised that they could choose to have their children stay at home and learn solely online this year. It is a betrayal of our confidence to require suddenly that our children go in-person for an exam, and it is certainly not worth the risk either!

We will already have other classes under our belts when we take these exams so we won’t even be thinking about it.

Exams are not as important as our safety.

It's too DANGEROUS to send our children to school for ANY reason. Our LIFE is more important than education. STOP PRESSURING PARENTS! Our families HEALTH AND SAFETY come FIRST. Period.

There are safer ways for these tests to be administered, if indeed they are needed at all.
