Because it is cruel and unusual punishment to sentence a child to 65 years who did not kill anyone. Why should Gov. Rick Scott blatantly ignore the May 10, 2010 ruling from the Supreme Court Graham v Florida. that juvenile offenders can't be sentenced to life without parole for non-homicide offenses committed before age 18. He has been in close management solitary confinement for 18 of those years in a room the size of a closet.

Release Ian Manuel from prison (he did not kill anyone)
Ian Manuel was incarcerated at age13. He has spent 18 years in Solitary close management in a Florida prison. Gov. Rick Scott is ignoring the May 10,2010 U.S. Supreme Court ruling which says
that juvenile offenders can't be sentenced to life without parole for non-homicide offences committed before age 18. He has been sentenced to a total of 65 years. How is that possible? He has been given more time than a murderer. He has suffered enough! We have all done things as a child that we are not proud of. He call his victim and apologized to her and she accepted his apology. Please sign this Change.Org petition!
