Require Generators in Nursing Homes

Nursing home residents in Hollywood Florida should not have died from heatstroke caused by no electricity after Hurricane Irma. Facilities should be required to have a building generator with a maintenance contract inspected on a regular basis by government officials to make sure that the residents will have electricity at all times even if the power is down. Elderly, and patients in rehab facilities and hospitals need electricity to maintain temperature control and oxygen to breathe. This is a short-term solution. I also agree that FPL electric lines should be buried and the infrastructure improved and uograded to withstand frequent costly hurricanes and potential interference with the grid.
