Leave NJ Highways Flooded in the Wake of Ida

This is Step One to making New Jersey into New Venice. As we are all aware, New Jersey has great pizza and a lot of Italians. While Hurricane Ida may have ghaba'd some ghouls, the "devastation" to the Highways is actually very nice looking and appealing. The risen waters that have blocked traffic in and out of New Jersey have in fact acted as a most against vicious Shoobie hordes, and served as an aesthetic testimony to mother nature's desire to reclaim the lands we've taken.
Additionally, the money spent on unflooding the roads could be used else where. With less roads, there'd be less taxes, as the roads wouldn't need constant maintaining in that section. From there, we could disassemble the tolls, change them to docks, and encourage gondola rides up and down the Garden State.
It's only a matter of time before the next storm that destroys and buries these deep, low running roads beneath a deluge of storm water. Why should we undo what is naturally occurring? It is a spit in the face of God to relieve the roads of these divine rains. Venice is sinking. Floodwater in New Jersey is rising. We will take in 150% of Italian immigrants. Please stop calling the rivers gravy.
