Tara Mroz started this petition to Governor Phil Murphy

Our world is going through much confusion on proper ways of going through Covid-19 procedures. The science, evidence, and decisions change daily. It is clear after months of dealing with this Covid-19 issue that many do not know how to handle what is going on, as well as seeing clear evidence of extremely high survival and recovery rate if one should be infected.

I am starting this petition in hopes that those who feel the same way can be heard. Restaurants and businesses are being severely impacted. Individuals plans on moving forward and growing their families, buying houses, getting married are being severely impacted. Those who feel that it is OUR RIGHT to decide if we want to "subject" ourselves to eat in a restaurant, be around a group of friends or have a large family gathering. This is our right.

I propose we can proceed with proper procedures in place such as temperature checks, potential waivers to be signed, and perhaps necessary testing beforehand that we can have our large family gatherings again to 25 percent capacity of a given restaurant/venue.

It is evident that the hospitals are open and empty, survival rate is over 99 percent, and most who are infected are barely symptomatic. If someone does not feel comfortable they can reside in their home. However, this is our constitutional right as Americans to decide what we allow ourselves to do. Governor Murphy let me have my wedding. Let us all have our weddings with proper procedures in place. This is our decision to make with close family and friends.
