We are in the middle of a surge of Covid in the State of Missouri.  Our Healthcare and School systems are taxed and our supply chain is continuing to falter.  We have no at home tests and testing sites are backed up for, sometimes, days at a time.  The State of Emergency you let expire at the end of 2021 would have greatly assisted with the current wave of hospitalizations.

With the expiration of the emergency order, we have ended licensing waivers for doctors and nurses from outside the state to be able to practice in Missouri.  We, also, no longer have use of the Missouri National Guard to run mass testing/vaccination sites.   We believe the extension of these waivers are wholly necessary to provide some relief for our medical community.

We want to maintain in-person learning for children while also considering the health of our essential workers.  Its been a long time and we are all tired, but its going to require a little more work on our part yet.

Please reconsider these items for the health and wellness of all Missourians.
