Problem
Permanent and Total Disabled Veterans are on a fixed income. We are unable to work and sometimes we have things we cannot afford with our income. Such as emergencies or for example things that happen unexpectedly such as our car breaking down or if something needs to be fixed in our home plumbing etc... These things are not on our fixed income budget and it can become a financial burden on us.

Solution
Massachusetts for example provides permanent and total veterans with a $2000 a year stipend. It is paid biannually on August 1st and February 1st in two installments of $1,000 each. This annuity is given in recognition of the service of our distinguished 100% service-connected disabled veterans and to the parents of distinguished veterans (Gold Star Parents) and the unmarried spouses (Gold Star Wives or Husbands) of distinguished veterans who gave their lives in the service of their country during wartime.

I am asking that the State of Washington adapt and implement a similar initiative to help these income restricted veterans.
