Started by Justice for Khalil

Khalil Raghib, aka Darron Anderson, has been wrongfully incarcerated since January 3rd, 1993 in a Oklahoma prison. Caught in the net of harsh sentences and zero tolerance that was popular in the 90's, he was convicted and excessively sentenced to 10,750 years at the age of 24 for a rape, kidnapping, and robbery that he did not commit.

Conviction was made without physical evidence and in spite of inconsistencies of testimony and omission of evidence - including rape kit results and DNA samples collected by search warrant, but were never submitted at trial. And while accusations claimed brutal violence, there were no bruises or scratches on the victims body except a small one on her back. No doctor or hospital staff testified at trial. The testimony that the victim/gave at trial was the opposite of her initial statement to the police on the night of the incident. The public defender never cross examined the witness or demanded any evidence of guilt whatsoever. Far from his home state of Tennessee and having no family in the area or money of his own, Khalil could not afford adequate, qualified defense representation at his young age.

Please support Khalil in getting a fair trial with competent representation. Gross incompetence in defense along with extremely excessive sentencing are a brutal and inhumane miscarriage of justice.
