I want my cousin to be released from prison!
My cousin Jason is currently serving a 15 year prison sentence for Trafficking Methamphetamine, but from my understanding, the drugs were in the car he was driving but the drugs nor the car belonged to him, they belonged to his friend. Jason had permission to drive the car to the store to get a soda and he was pulled over for something he was guilty of, which was not wearing a seat belt and that's when police searched the car and found the drugs! If you look Jason up on the Georgia Department of Corrections website, you will see that he has NO PRIOR SENTENCES! On the GDC website I looked up individuals that had the same charge as Jason and most had been to prison before and they received a lighter sentence and there are some that only had to serve 1 to 2 years. My cousin is my cousin, he is a son, a brother, a uncle, a nephew, but most importantly, he's a father but, he can't be a father in prison, a place where he DOESN'T BELONG!!
