In the early morning hours of December 29, 1997, police in Kansas City, Kansas, responded to a report of shots fired and found Gregory Miller Jr's body. Greg had been shot 18 times with both a shotgun and a rifle. A trail of blood ran to the body. Spent 12-gauge shotgun shells and empty rifle shell casings were found near the body.

24 years ago 2 cowards named Brian Betts and Celester McKinney, who are cousins, was righfully accused, tried, and convicted for the assassination of Gregory Miller Jr. There was NO CORRUPTION OR FALSE IMPRISONMENT. You lured him over the next block from his grand parents house and shot him 18 times with a shotgun and a rifle. He did not deserve to be gunned down like some wild animal and left for dead. Our family has not been the same since the brutal MURDER. And now we have to relive this all over again with your petition and lies. Celester McKinney's case is up for review by the supreme court and he and his family is trying to use the situation with the then Detective, Roger Golubski for his benefit. They have been up for parole more than once not one time have you made these claims. Your family and our family been knowing each other for years from the Matriarchs of both families on down to the grandkids at the time. Some childhood friendships has ENDED because of the MURDER.
