Alabama's cases of Covid 19 are skyrocketing because most people are not wearing masks.  It's the Governor's responsibility to protect all the citizens of Alabama and wearing a mask has proven to be a powerful tool in the fight against this virus.

My step daughter works in a public library. She wears a mask and a face shield to protect herself. She speaks of most patrons, not social distancing or wearing masks. One in particular got right in her face to argue with her, unmasked! I've seen people at Walmart shopping unmasked, young people gathered acting as if we are not in the middle of a pandemic.

We need guidance and leadership from you Governor Ivey! North Carolina has just made it a law. Why can't we? Alabama now has 37,536 cases of Covid 19. Our hospitals are at near capacity! Nine hundred and thirty six  people have needlessly lost their lives to this disease.  How many more cases and  deaths have to occur before you will act?

You must require people to wear masks in outside public areas and all indoor public spaces. If people break this law, it's a misdemeanor and that person will be fined.

This virus has no political affiliation. Do the right thing!
