Dear. Governor Kathy Hochul

I'm writing you to advocate on the behalf of Mr. Raymond Merchant in the support of his clemency application that has been pending for the past six and half years. We humbly request to you Governor Cuomo for the release of our loved one, so he can be reunited with his family and friends.

In the course of his 21 years imprisonment, Raymond Merchant has managed to continue to fight for his innocents of a crime he didn't commit. In the meanwhile becoming a better man, while  turned his life over to God as a Protestant. He has also achieved his GED, got his associate degree in Arts of Science, he currently enrolled in getting his bachelor degree as well. He also gained numerous of vocational certifications : food handling, printer and powerlifting. He is also working on starting his own organization called " Smart Is The New Tough" to give back to his community and society.
