Hydraulic fracturing is gravely destructive to air, water, land, and human health. It also has a significant negative impact on the current climate crisis. Hydraulic fracturing is an environmental and human health catastrophe and must be prohibited immediately.
After reviewing the State of Colorado's official oil and gas documents from 1952-present, with a concentration on 2009-present, we have concluded that the State of Colorado's Oil & Gas Conservation Commission has failed to abide by its mission statement in a good faith effort to prevent adverse human health and environmental impacts from extraction mining that uses hydraulic fracturing. Therefore, we have concluded that you, Governor John Hickenlooper have no other choice then to ban fracking in the State of Colorado for the numerous unacceptable failures.
