In West Virginia as well as many other places, COVID rates are souring and many people are getting sick. At my local high school, many many students are constantly getting “quaratined” or actually testing positive with COVID. In the past week, three people in my area have passed away from COVID, and one of my loved ones almost doing the same. I say that schools across West Virginia need to take action to stop this issue. When COVID started, before mask mandates were ever a thing, Our governor shut down schools with no warning and they stayed shut down. Now with COVID rates higher than they have ever been, he is completely ignoring it. Something has to change soon.
