Candice Bailey is a community leader that should have the ability to be on city council and participate in life as a normal citizen.   Over 20 years ago she received the scarlet letter given by the government called a felony and paid her debt ten fold to society in the two decades since she had her day in court.    In today’s  society it is assumed that we all have a chance to right our wrongs and when we have done so we should be able to function as we did before those things transpired.  Candice is a fighter for justice a community organizer and nurturer and a sister and mother in our community.   We urge Governor Polis to pardon Candice Bailey for her 2001 conviction.
