We demand a full internal investigation of the recently reported whistleblower complaints against CDPHE.  We demand director Garry Kaufman step down immediately.

As recently reported in the Colorado Sun:
Colorado air pollution control managers ordered staff to falsify data and approve permits “at all costs,” whistleblowers say.  State employees allege a years-long pattern of illegal state actions designed to speed up permits and avoid scrutiny by the public.

CDPHE is clearly not protecting the health of Coloradoans. 

"The violations by APCD management, led since 2017 by director Garry Kaufman, are also “contributing directly to chronic health problems, premature deaths, and severe injury to the environment by permitting ever more dangerous emissions."
Mr. Kaufman must step down immediately.
