For years I have been in and out of doctor's offices, hospitals and specialists. I have been suffering from chronic abdominal and kidney pain, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, tachycardia and difficulty breathing. Doctor's have been treating the symptoms and guessing what it could be but always insisting that it is all in my head. I've been prescribed pain medication, medication for gastritis, for anxiety, depression you name it I've been prescribed. I recently decided to get off all medications, started eating a more plant based diet and other natural remedies. Some of the symptoms have been under control expect the excruciating abdominal pain. I ended up in the hospital a few weeks ago where finally a doctor diagnosed me with Nutcracker Syndrome. Nut--- what? Yes same response I had. I asked the doctor what he was going to do to help me and he looked at me and said there's nothing he can do because he is not familiar with the condition. Pain killers trigger my gastritis. I have taken all the medications prescribed by the many doctor's I've seen and nothing has worked so far. The only thing that has given me some type of relief has been street cannabis and cannabis I obtained a while back in Colorado which helped with the pain and nausea. If it wasn't for it I would be way skinnier than I am now. Please help me ask Governor Abbot to approve medical grade cannabis to the list of medications doctors are able to prescribe for Nutcracker Syndrome in Texas. My health and well-being as many of others suffering with this condition depend on it.
