Changing the time affects overall quality of health because it interferes with your bio rhythms. It disrupts sleep, metabolism, mood, and stress levels.  In addition children are waiting on their school buses in the dark which puts them a vulnerable position of something happening such as a kidnapping or getting hit by a bus or car. DST increases gasoline consumption. Airlines report a loss of revenue and travel delays as a result of DST. DST is associated with a spike in heart attacks, increased work injuries, automobile accidents, and suicides.
