Don't want your plant anywhere near the gulf of Mexico! Sick of corporations ruining the coast. The gulf area is tourist and fishery based. These plants have no place here. Thecway they are put into poor and black neighborhoods is dispicable amd is done to hide the situation. YOU THINK PEOPLE WON'T CARE? WE DO! About the people in these neighborhoods and the entire gulf impact as well. STAY OUT!

I STRONGLY suggest Governor Edwards read the book A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE: Environmental Racism and Its Assault on the American Mind by Harriet A. Washington https://wke.lt/w/s/5rDvma

The emissions from the existing plants need to be dealt with before we should even be thinking about any new plants in St. James parish

St James Parish deserves to live in a safe and healthy community, not one created by a polluting industry!

I am signing this petition because plastic pollution is a major threat to human and marine life. Formosa has a very poor track record following environmental regulations. The people of St. James Parish will suffer more air and water pollution and lose billions in tax credits to Formosa that could be used to fund schools and hospitals.

Stop the plastics and the plants that make it. Do not allow the chemical plant in St. James Parish to become a realty.
