It is important to me because, in a way, homophobia affects me as well. I have a friend who's gay, and I can say that he's a very nice person and not 'disgusting' or 'awkward' at all. Those of you who are against same-sex couples and marriages - GET A LIFE !!! Why kill someone just because of his sexual orientation? It's not their fault! Get a L.I.F.E., homophobics. Get.A.Life. Let our children grow up in a more tolerant and peaceful world.

Love is a Human Right, we are not second class human beings. We are no different from you and we deserve the same rights and protection.

Homo-prejudice is better wording- it encapsulates the actual hostile actions against people~ with the connotation of more responsibility...

Too many things get passed into law by being misrepresented with a fluffy title. People need to know the truth.

I'm old enough (64) to have seen great progress in this area. However, our youth are still subjected to hate speech -- and sometimes worse -- actions that sometimes cause teens to take drastic action, such as suicide. Even if the result is less dramatic, the abuse can have terrible effects on our kids. Please, please let Georgia know that you don't condone bullying of ANY kind. Thank you!
