I am signing because I believe that if the coral reefs were to die off, the only way to get it back would to be using aquacultured fish and coral. In order to successfully breed these fish we need to have access to them for a greater good to give back to mother nature. For example look how far we have come, captive bred yellow and blue hippo tangs!

I'm signing because there is data to support the opposing side to this bill. The fisheries are sustainable and there is no direct threat towards these fish and their habitat from the aquarium trade. There hasn't been a decrease in numbers why get rid of a great source of income to Hawaii that makes them more money selling the fish to the aquarium trade than it does to the food industry?

This is a bad bill that will needlessly cost good paying jobs for the people of Hawaii.

There have been multiple studies done to prove that obtaining aquatic life in the amounts that have been done is sustainable. Stopping this business would result in many types of fish keepers to find their stock elsewhere driving money to other regions of the world instead of yours.
