Brian Johnston started this petition to Governor and

This petition requests the Governor of Virginia provide all analytical data used to support the length of his Executive Order 55 (Temporary Stay At Home Order Due To Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)).  The duration of the order, which extends through June 10, 2020, is of specific concern.  It is far longer than the current federal guidelines or any other state's executive order relating to the coronavirus pandemic.  This has created job insecurity, small business uncertainty and unnecessary anxiety among Virginia residents.

To remedy this situation, request the Governor provide either or both of the following:

1) All data used as the basis for the June 10, 2020 end date of Executive Order 55.  This would include models of the estimated length and breadth of the COVID-19 pandemic specific to Virginia, broken down by county or region.

2) In the absence of above data supporting the current end date of Executive Order 55, request the issuance of a new executive order matching the end date of the current federal guidelines.  This date can always be modified based on the latest information related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your consideration of this petition is greatly appreciated.
