I'm signing this because women should be able to access reproductive health care no matter what their economic or employment status is.

Abortion care IS medical care. Funny how only women’s health issues are ever politicized.

As with making healthcare affordable and accessible to all, just so should be the ability to get an abortion without restrictions. No one and nothing should stand in the way of making personal health care decisions. Women are critical to the economic health of our state as well as to the well-being of their families. I strongly urge you to stand up and lead Rhode Island by eliminating abortion restrictions from the upcoming state budget for Fiscal Year 2022. That would show true leadership and respect for quality health care access including that of reproductive rights. I trust you will make quality, affordable healthcare, including safe abortion access, a priority for the women of RI.

I am signing because obtaining a legal healthcare procedure should not be available only to those who can afford private health insurance!

The end of the ban of state coverage for abortion is way overdue. Please make it happen now, not later.

Abortions are healthcare, and someone's life choices should not be limited by the extent of their financial privilege. This is a step towards equity.
