Nuclear safety is just common sense. Governor Cuomo, you must act to protect New Yorkers where the federal government refuses to act. This is no different than opposing other Trump policies that harm our state.

I live a 1/2 a mile from the pipeline, my friends live within 10 feet of the pipeline, our local elementary school is also within a 1/2 a mile of this pipeline and my children must pass over this pipeline twice a day going to school. I am terrified there could be a breach and half of my neighborhood will be blown up, not to mention how this would affect Indian Point Nuclear facility that is too close to the other end of this pipeline. Sorry. But we would all be MUCH better off with solar panels on every roof and NO more pipeline. SHUT OFF THIS PIPELINE! DECOMMISSION THIS PIPELINE. All of our lives are in danger! And likely, everyone in NYC, parts of CT to Rockland County, much of the Hudson River and up to Poughkeepsie will suffer if there is a giant - Nuclear explosion!

Mixing piped gas and an aging nuclear power plant, and an important river, is INSANE. Shut off the gas!!!
