In early Fall 2020, Senator DiZoglio secured $1,000,000 through the Senate’s General Governmental Infrastructure Bond Bill to reinvest in the community by continuing the development of MYCC. In late Fall 2020, Senator Diana DiZoglio and MY Voice youth spoke at the Methuen School Committee meeting. They requested that the school committee approve the redevelopment of a former school building, still owned by the city, into a youth community center. With a unanimous vote, the school committee granted Inspirational Ones (IO) a 20,000 square foot building to develop the Methuen Youth Program into the Methuen Youth Community Center (MYCC).

MYCC is looking to have this money released from the House, so we are sending this petition out to the community. We are looking to have Governor Baker recognize the importance of releasing these funds to begin renovations to the building. Please sign this petition today in support of helping MYCC open its doors.
