Remove all Pandemic Restrictions in Georgia Public Schools
As of July 1st, 2021 the public health state of emergency ended.
Kemp had vowed in May that “We’re not going to have a mask mandate for our kids," but an executive order he issued that month fell short of actually banning masks in schools. He stated, “Georgia will not lock down or impose statewide mask mandates.”
There is no statewide mask mandate in Georgia yet our tax-payer funded public schools are still imposing mask mandates and closing classrooms. “Parents choice” needs to be the precedent in Georgia’s public schools and locking down schools and classrooms needs to end.
The single, most important element of the government’s authority is the protection of individual rights. Governor Kemp needs to file an executive order guaranteeing face to face learning and make mask wearing a family choice.
