Multiple cities across the country are suspending evictions during the coronavirus crisis. They have been highly praised for doing so, and have saved a lot of workers from facing eviction, due to lost income that may have otherwise been earned. If governor Brian Kemp suspended evictions, it will be a step in the right direction to help stop that “curve” of infection rates the CDC has been talking about, by not backing these workers in a corner of “work or be homeless.” The people in the shadows need to be protected during something so completely out of their control. Please help me encourage governor Brian Kemp to put this into affect for the Georgians who so desperately need it. For those who are already losing income, and don’t need to lose their homes too. Let’s be a voice for those who are being hit hard by this pandemic, and who don’t have the luxury of staying home to work.
