Religion's are for more out of control than previously thought. There needs to be laws to protect people from individuals that think abuse in the name of God is acceptable. People like this make this world a horrible place to live in.

These are horrible, archaic and unfair ideas. God and Jesus would not approve of such judgmental hypocrisy.

If our current adoption system isn't broken, why "fix" it in a way that reduces likelihood a child will be adopted? This bill is overbroad and poorly defined. As such, it pollutes Va Code.

Bills like this give people who believe they have the right to behave as God ambiguously written laws that allow them to leave broken people in their wake as collateral damage as they advance their own selfish and narrow agendas. Disgusting.

This is simply inhuman! I can't begin to name the ways that these bills are wrong. It makes me want to wretch to think that in the 21st Century people would so hate their fellow man/woman that they would try to pass discriminatory legislation like these attacks on certain groups of Americans!

I am signing this petition because I think that it is a dangerous practice to "hold harmless" any agency that works with children. In addition, I think that it is an over reach for the state to join with any agency to discriminate against its citizens.

The state's role should be to protect and provide for the best interests of children. It is not Virginian to use the state to promote religion.

I know too many gay parents who have raised children, wonderful children I ask that you get out of peoples lives where no one belongs.

A nearly year long effort to get non discrimination protection for potential gay/lesbian adoptive parents added to proposed new Regulations failed. The minute the General Assembly started House and Senate Bills were submitted to codify into law protections for 'primarily' Catholic Charities. While codifying discrimination into law in the US in the 21st century is bad enough, these bills go a mile too far. THEY HAVE BECOME CHILD ENDANGERMENT Bills.

This general assembly also has passed PERSONHOOD legislation that even failed in Mississippi. There is also an INSTRUMENT RAPE Bill (requiring Vaginal Ultrasound).
GOD! Please save us from the Godly!.
