All BitLicense is going to do is move bitcoin transations from businessmen to organized criminals. People want bitcoins and most users will commit fraud to bypass BitLicence such as using tor or vpn making it very hard to enforce the law and possbily bankrupting the state. Stop this law and find another way to regulate commerce.

The measures cited in this bill are draconian and will only serve to stifle innovation in the field of crypto-currencies for the entire state of NY as well as any other states that adopt similar regulatory guidelines. Some of the largest players in bitcoin right now are already at the very least having back-room discussions about banning every single NY-based IP address from utilizing their services and I assure you more will follow if this passes.

This proposal is definitely an overreach and will stifle innovation, both financial and technological.

I believe this will drive bitcoin businesses, as well as regular business that would accept bitcoin, out of New York.

If this license goes through, this will cripple Alt Coins from growing. Like CureCoin for example. This coin has improved protein folding by 33% in one month of launching. The future is endless with Crypto. The Bitlicense will crush new innovations like this from helping human kind as a whole.

The Permission to Service
The Permission to Transact
The Permission to Innovate

I'm not happy with this, I think that BitLicense is trying its hardest to take everything that made Bitcoin popular in the first place. I do not support this proposed regulation.

As a visioned and active member in the blockchain-based technologies space, I am very sad about the consequences BitLicense may have on the important ongoing developments for a better future.
