Nurses in 38 states can go to the other states in the compact and works without restrictions or added expenses. They don't have to wait weeks or months for a license.  NY nurses have to apply to every state BON and pay for a license. They also have to pay for additional fingerprints. On average $250.00 per state. Governor Cuomo asked for help and nurses from all over came to help. When those states needed help there was alot of applications and delays do to Boards working from home. We deserve to be part of a union of our brother and sisters.
