Lack of affordable, sustainable, and accessible public transportation can be experienced in day-to-day life and is influencing the ways of traveling. Public transportation (buses & trains) are very expensive on long and short distances and therefore traveling by car or even flying is oftentimes cheaper. Furthermore, in countries that are fighting against climate change, it should be possible to establish more affordable, sustainable, and accessible public transportation options. Moreover, this problem is one of the key factors in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
