Every time that an engine is started and a car moves carbon dioxide and many other greenhouse gases are released into the Earth’s atmosphere trapping heat. This heat is then bounced back onto Earths surfaces and increases the temperature. Due to this we are losing one of the most diverse places on the planet, Antartica only because the ice and the surface is melting and glaciers are falling. Animals are losing their homes living on slithers of land, starving with no where to go. 

It’s not just places and animals that are endangered but us, as humans as well because with more and more emissions being released and polluting the air around us. This can affect our health just as much as it can affect all other things.

So, what can we do to help:

Firstly, we can make a goal, a goal that can turn the tables to make the world a more environmentally friendly place.
For example our goal is to ban the sale of cars that use petroleum and diesel by the year 2035, which doesn’t mean we are banning them completely it just means that when you go and buy a brand new car it must be electric.
