Problem
Even if the government implemented the law about prohibiting smoking in public places still the enforcers does not implement the law strictly that's why peoples are still smoking in the public. Smoking must be ban in the public it’s because smoking produces 4000 known chemical in tobacco smoke and at least 250 of them are known to be harmful and more than 50 are known to cause cancer to us. That’s why smoking is very dangerous exposing the people in public to smoke of tobaccos. Philippines were the 15th largest consumer of tobacco in the world in 2002 and currently have one of the highest smoking rates in Asia, As well as some of the cheapest cigarette prices. But Second hand smoking is big threat to the public. Main way smoking hurts non-smokers is through secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke is the combination of smoke that comes from a cigarette and smoke breathed out by a smoker. When a non-smoker is around someone smoking, they breathe in secondhand smoke.  Anyone who breathes it in might have the chances to having cancerous diseases. Smoking is the cause of about 5 million deaths per year. The primary risks of tobacco usage include many forms of cancer, particularly lung cancer. Lung cancer risk is highly affected by smoking with up to 90% of cases being caused by tobacco smoking. Long term exposure to compounds found in the smokes are believed to be responsible for pulmonary damage and for loss of elasticity in the alveoli, leading to emphysema and COPD
Inhalation of tobacco smoke causes several immediate responses within the heart and blood vessels. Within one minute the heart rate begins to rise, increasing by as much as 30 percent during the first 10 minutes of smoking.

Solution
To execute the law firmly in that way the smoking in public places would be avoided and a clean air would be dispersed and also to prevent illnesses caused by smoking. The people in the government must increase the tax of cigarettes 28.3 percent of the population are "current tobacco smokers". To resolve this problem the government must educate the public about the harm of smoking tobaccos and strictly implement the law about banning the tobaccos unto the public to reduce the risk of being sick. Also the government must build many smoking area to reduce the spreading of smoke in the public. We can also reduce the people by smoking tobaccos in the public by teaching them on how to be more productive and to be educate them.

Personal story
As a typical student that commutes and always in the public places. Sometimes i observed even if there's a big signage in public places but still many people smoke even if the enforcers smoke too that's why i appeal to the government to take action on this problem. I am always exposed to smoke that’s why I got a disease like asthma I acquire asthma due to exposure of tobacco smoke in the public places wherever I go that’s why I appeal to the government to strictly ban the smoking of tobacco in the public place before anything goes wrong in their health.
