I have a dog called Ted, I’ve been with ted since he was a few weeks old. I’ve taken him for a walk everyday, he has sat with me while I worked, I’ve fed, watered and loved him with all my heart. He would sleep on my legs at night and has brought so much joy to my life when other people tried to bring me down. I have paid for his food, haircuts, toys, you name it.

But, I didn’t pay for him at the start, so now my ex taking him off me. The one who put everything over walking ted in the morning, and only wanted him when it was convenient. He is taking him off me as a punishment for leaving rather than thinking of the welfare or Ted. He works 5-6 days a week and is happy to see Ted be left alone in the house from early morning till late at night.
I work from home, and have always spent every minute of my time with him.

I think that it’s unfair to have no rights in this case. And many people have contacted me after having similar issues. I’m hoping to change the right, people should have the same opportunity. Just because you may not have bought him, or he was bought as a present, you should have the same rights if you put all your love and time into bringing him up.
