Despite having the Anti Rape Law, Anti-Sexual Harassment Act, and the Safe Spaces Act in the Philippines, thousands of Filipinos experience sexual harassment to this day.

So far, no studies have been published online regarding all other victims aside from women (ranging from teens to young adults) and children in the context of the Philippines. Unfortunately, not a lot of people are aware of this issue as well. What happened to all the other Filipinos then?
The worst part is, MAJORITY of sexual harassment cases are not included in the mentioned statistics, due to fear, stigma, inaccessibility of help, and many more. Remember, it is NOT easy to speak up about it, especially that it is a common thing for Filipinos to belittle one's experiences with unwelcome behavior.

I am sharing all of this because not everybody knows the scary truth, and not everybody acknowledges how big the issue is. With this post, I am encouraging EVERYONE to educate one another to spread awareness, correct misconceptions, and come up with solutions to give justice to those who were affected by the issue.
