Schools are reopening and parents are worried!  According to Hawaii News Now the board of education has voted to delay the reopening of public schools by two weeks— until August 17. Schools were supposed to reopen on the first week of August. A problem that is interfering not only with education, but also many other stuff like businesses, etc, is Covid-19. Don’t get me wrong education is really important! But when something like Covid is in the midst of us today it’s impossible for it not to spread. Take a look at the cases in Hawaii. As of Tuesday, there are 1,210 active coronavirus cases in total in Hawaii, 1,144 of which are on Oahu If i’m not wrong. Cases are increasing, but we must not add onto it with our poor choices. Many parents don’t want their children/child to return to school. Is it the best choice to make? YES IT IS! We could save a lot of lives by not reopening schools. Covid-19 cases could slowly demolish, but it’s our choice to make that happen! If you truly care about your loved ones make the right decision. Do you really want your child back or do you want to keep them home where the chances of catching the disease is less than sending them back to school? Remember all it takes is one person!
