Cyber-bullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites. Many people in these days are experiencing this situation on their daily lives. Like all forms of bullying, cyber-bullying causes psychological, emotional and physical stress. Each person's response to being bullied is unique, but research has shown some general tendencies. It can lead to emotional and physical harm, loss of self-esteem, feelings of shame and anxiety, concentration and learning difficulties. Incidents of young people committing suicide have also been linked with cyber-bullying. ... Contrary to popular belief, bullies often have high self-esteem. In this country, Philippines, cyber-bullying is one of the concerns of the government due to the spread out of these through technology that causes a lot of cases involved in cyber-bullying.I would like to make a petition for stopping cyber-bullying here in our country so that we can prevent the spread of cyber-bullying so that people will be confident to face the world without the threat of bullying through the powerful use of technology in the present.
