Ban the use of foam insulation in buildings after tower block fire

Everyone in the UK is shocked by the terrible and avoidable deaths at Grenfell Tower. This fire draws attention to the flammability of synthetic foam insulations such as Polyisocyanurate , polyurethane etc. These have been used in cladding systems on countless other tower blocks but also to insulate ordinary 2 storey houses. Not only are these foam products shown to be dangerous in fires but they are alleged to emit toxic chemicals during fires. The manufacture of such products is bad for human health and the wider environment and they should be banned. Non flammable insulation materials are readily available.
