Wealthy businesses, their partners and/or their owners are using the furlough scheme to protect their wealth.
Most of the voting public thought it was to protect smaller businesses from going out of business and to allow them to provide for their families during these difficult times.
The government need to move fast to ensure the tax burden of protecting large businesses wealth isn’t passed onto the masses.
It’s time for the wealthy to support those that have helped make them get rich without expecting a tax payer funded government bailout.
the furlough should be reserved for smaller businesses / sole traders (eg with reserves of less than £1m and/or the average employee pay is less than £30k per year)
