Remove weapons, improve safety on our streets, save lives.

In June 2004 I submitted a 10,000 word dissertation on the gang culture that affects UK communities. The research I used for that paper dated back decades, as did reports such as the MacPherson Report which made recomendations for change. Today, 13 years on, I am writing a further 10,000 words around the same issues. This time even more personal, in honour of the MURDER of my 18 year old brother YUSUF SONKO. Yusuf was shot point blank in the head in broad daylight, in front of witnesses on 2nd June 2017 in Tagus Street, Toxteth, Liverpool.
The sense of loss, tragedy, heartbreak and pain our family have endured is indescribable. The only way to keep going is to focus on change.....Change social inequality, change policing strategies, change laws. Seems unrealistic, but still we try!
