400 people have lost large sums of money, when a local funeral directors, Heavenly Services, went into liquidation. These people all bought funeral plans, paid up front, and were unaware of any issues that the company were or may have been having. The plans were bought, as peace of mind.

My husband first brought this issue to a local news programme,  and the situation has gone nationwide.

We feel that, as customers,  we should get some reimbursement from the government,  hmrc, and banks  as without us, the company would not be in business,  and providing income and jobs to many.

The majority of those affected are elderly, and are unable to get either life insurance policies  or have the means to be able to pay gor another plan.

Please sign my petition,  as I feel that the company involved have tarnished thecreputation of funeral directors. There are good companies out there. Also, thete is legislation being introduced   at the end of July 2022, to regulate the funeral industry. How many more companies will go bsng, before then? How many more people will be left out of pocket?
