I want my religious beliefs to be recognised as a legitimate, mainstream religion, exactly like Christianity and Judaism etc... I feel like I am unable to practice my own religion, because I have nowhere I can go nearby to do so... There is one Odinist temple in the UK, and that is in Nottinghamshire, I live in Derbyshire, so am unable to travel to the nearest temple to me... This needs to change, everyone should have freedom in this country to practice their religious beliefs.

I feel that there are a lot of people in this country that share my beliefs, my brothers and sisters, that I am unable to connect with, because we only have online forums in which to practice our rituals and beliefs.

I would love to eventually have enough support, that I can have a permanent structure built, to honour my God’s, and to worship them on a daily basis.

If I were Muslim, I would have freedom to worship without persecution, without being mocked or made fun of, etc... I would also have the freedom to have a temple built to practice my religion....

The UK government has pandered to Islam and other religions, allowing them to build their own places of worship, so I believe I should also have the same rights, along with my Norse Pagan brothers and sisters.
