Rolling into our 3rd year of border closure and the restrictions we face with travel there will be many of us that have not had the opportunity to use our passports.

Regardless of intended travel plans the matter of fact is that we have not had the freedom to travel as we would have pre-Covid.

We should not be penalised nor should it be at our expense for those whom have/due to renew their passports during this pandemic.

The government are implementing financial support to businesses and in various aspects to the ‘team of 5 million’. Let’s not forget that it is not us that have chosen not to travel, yet a restriction that has been placed upon us in order to get through this pandemic.

As we have had to accept and comply with this, I ask you to join me in this petition to seek from the government a rebate/reduction of our passport renewals during this period.
