Stop illegal trading of wild animals in Chatuchak Market

This petition had 285 supporters

In Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, Thailand, there are many stalls that sell pets. Dogs, cats, fish, turtles, those are just a few. Which is okay. But when you have 10 puppies crammed into a cage with minimum to none food, water and waste disposal... That's when it's a problem. This is not a new thing, it's been happening for about 15 years now. But that's not the worst of it. The sad thing is they sell animals that should NOT be out of the wild. Possums, chipmunks, squirrels, rare birds and wildlife is being harmed by being taken out of their natural environment for your 'pets'. did you know they even sell Manta Rays and Baby SHARKS!? That's just not right.
