We, the students of Architecture, urge you to immediately suspend online classes as not every student has access to uninterrupted internet, compatible devices and suitable learning conditions at home. Continuing online classes when some students are left out sends out a message that education is only for the privileged. The governing council is requested to address this issue as soon as possible and prioritise the mental health of students over the completion of syllabus, declare whether the semester exams are cancelled or postponed. The Council of Architecture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, the Government of Telangana and the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University should come to a decision as the future citizens and builders of India is at risk.
