Since the COVID pandemic hits in 2020, live music performances were banned in Singapore. All professional musicians - singers, keyboardists, live bands have lost their source of income, some couldn't find alternative employment till today and have been struggling hard to make ends meet, and being the sole bread winners, most of them with families to feed, even have to resort to loans after their savings were depleted, to tide over this difficult times.

On behalf of everyone in the local music industry, including event organisers, musicians, DJs & emcees in Singapore, we request and urge all relevant authorities of Singapore to take a serious consideration into the plight of all our fellow musicians and to permit live music performances (particularly solo performances with one instrument, eg. piano or guitar or 2 to 3-piece band performances) within certain permitted guidelines to follow. Please do catogries it by start a pilot music performance at bistro & restaurant's. For the KTV & Clubs will be later part to be consider
